Leader Expectations
*Positivity and excitement are contagious. Be mindful that your delegates’ level of enjoyment will be directly linked to your own. Help us make this an amazing event by avoiding negative speech and attitude.

*We ask that you model responsibility, respectfulness, and punctuality. The delegates will be looking to you, so please lead appropriately.

*Supervise your delegates at all times—Officers and chaperones must be at each meeting, session and meal with your delegates.
*Abide by the “Protecting the Mission” guidelines, by keeping children safe and free from sexual misconduct, physical and emotional abuse. Report any inappropriate behavior to your officer(s) or DYS immediately.
*Make sure that all of your delegates attend all Main Sessions, both Electives, Free-Time Activities, Late-Night Activities, and all Meals.
*Confirm that your delegates’ cabins are cleaned prior to your departure on Sunday.
*There is a ZERO TOLERANCE policy for use or possession of tobacco products, illegal drugs, alcoholic beverages, and weapons of any kind while on the premises of Camp Ponderosa Ranch.
*As a chaperone, you have the most direct contact with your delegates throughout the weekend. Get to know them, hang out together, and pray with and for them.
